Axel
Johnson --
One
of the many boat access recreational sites on Christina Lake. It is very
popular with good swimming, camping, and fishing.
Christina
Lake Provincial Park --
A
large, popular sandy beach and picnic area located at the south end of
Christina Lake. There are a myriad of water activities to do here, including
public swimming lessons in the summer. This is the most accessible beach
and has drinking fountains and flush toilets.
Ole Johnson --
A
boat access site situated on an historic miner's resort site. Try fishing
for Kokanee, Rainbow Trout, Bass, Whitefish, Burbot, and Carp.
Parson
Creek --
Located
on the western shore of the lake, this is a small, treed site. There is
a nice beach with good fishing and swimming. It is boat access only.
Starchuk
Beach --
This
boat access only recreational site has a large, popular beach area with
camping, swimming, and fishing.
Texas
Creek/Gladstone --
Provincial
Park with 63 campsites and a boat launch. There are also several small
beaches, flush toilets. This park is often full in peak season. Reservations
are recommended.
Trapper
Creek --
This
site can be accessed either by boat or from the Deer Point Trail. It is
a small, semi-open site, nice for swimming, fishing, and hiking. Watch
for poison ivy.
Treadmill
Creek --
A
large popular site on the western shore. It is boat access only and has
a beach, swimming, camping, and fishing.
Troy
Creek --
Located
at the north end of the lake, this recreational site can be accessed either
by boat or by trail. The site is small, semi-open, and has a beach, swimming,
and fishing.
